Election lies lacked vision

In Timothy Snyder’s The American Abyss (The New York Times), he shows why Trump’s lies failed to reach fruition:

Republicans in Congress who sustained the election lies provided validation of the election lies.
Unfortunately for Trump, his lie lacked judicial and more importantly military support.
Trump rallied his supporters, but he also lacked a vision of what his supporters should accomplish.
Once the Capitol was breached, there was no end goal.
