I dont have the option to select “Service Pack 3″ for Windows XP, only “Service Pack 2″. Any suggestions.

Same for me. Doesn’t fix it even if uninstall and reinstall.
Windows 7 64-bit.
Tried various compatibility modes but no joy.
Has anyone seen and fixed this?

That is unfortunate. Also unfortunate (or fortunate, depending on how you look at it)… I haven’t encountered that scenario so far. You could try uninstalling and re-installing the Kindle App. You mentioned it just stopped working, so that may help “reset” things to when they were previously working.

Unfortunately switching to compatibility mode does not work for me. My kindle app just stopped working by its self all of the sudden.
